Recently, some
overseas media reports, Volkswagen Amarok pickup will usher in its mid-term
facelift in 2016. The new car after facelift will be better compete with Nissan
Navara, Toyota Hilux and other new mid-sized pickups.
According to
overseas media reports, the new Amarok pickup change in appearance will be
mainly focused on the front face, the new car will use the latest Volkswagen
family design language, in addition to the new car in the interior also will be
adjusted, and equipped with the latest people machine interaction system that
can support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In power, the
current Amarok pickup equipped with 2.0TDI engine, maximum power of 163
horsepower and peak torque of 400 Nm, match with 6-speed manual gearbox. But
the future new Amarok pickup or will be adjusted for power system, so that the
emissions further reduced.
In test, the Volkswagen
Amarok pickup will still use VAS 5054A to diagnosis all the system. The VAG VAS 5054A used for VW group cars include
VW,AUDI,SKODA,SEAT,Bentley and Lamborghini. The latest software is ODIS 2.2.4,
with Bluetooth function and full chip OKI.
